Setup and Assembly
Adult assembly is required. No tools are needed for assembly.
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all track pieces, structures, and the motorized Thomas engine from the packaging.
- Battery Installation (Thomas Engine):
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the motorized Thomas engine.
- Using a small Phillips head screwdriver (not included), open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert one (1) "AA" (LR6) alkaline battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.
- Track Assembly:
- Refer to the diagram on the product packaging for the recommended track layout.
- Connect the track pieces by aligning the connectors and pushing them firmly together until they click into place.
- Assemble the icy mountain structure and bridge, integrating them into the track layout as shown.
- Position the avalanche track piece and the icy boulder accessory according to the diagram to enable the boulder chase action.
- Final Check: Ensure all track connections are secure and the structures are stable before placing the engine on the track.
Operating Instructions
- Place Thomas on Track: Carefully place the motorized Thomas engine onto the track, ensuring all wheels are properly seated on the rails.
- Activate Engine: Locate the ON/OFF switch on the top or side of the Thomas engine. Slide the switch to the "ON" position to start the engine.
- Observe Action: Thomas will begin to move along the track. As Thomas climbs the steep, snowy hill, the icy boulder is designed to come loose and roll down, chasing Thomas. The engine will then proceed over the bridge and through the icy landscape.
- Deactivate Engine: To stop the engine, slide the ON/OFF switch to the "OFF" position.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the track pieces, structures, and engine with a damp cloth to remove dust and dirt. Do not immerse the motorized engine in water.
- Battery Care:
- Remove batteries from the engine if it will not be used for an extended period.
- Replace batteries when the engine's speed decreases or it stops functioning.
- Always dispose of used batteries properly.
- Storage: Store the set in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Disassemble the track for compact storage if desired.
