Setup and Installation
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the microwave oven and all packing materials. Check for any damage. Do not operate if damaged.
- Placement: Place the oven on a flat, stable surface strong enough to hold its weight plus the heaviest food item likely to be cooked. Ensure adequate ventilation space: at least 20 cm (8 inches) above the oven, 10 cm (4 inches) at the rear, and 5 cm (2 inches) on each side. Do not block air vents.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a properly grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage matches the rating label on the oven.
- Turntable Assembly: Place the roller ring in the depression on the oven floor. Place the glass turntable on top of the roller ring, ensuring it sits securely.
- First Use: Before first use, wipe the interior and exterior with a damp cloth. Run the microwave empty for a few minutes on high power to eliminate any manufacturing odors.
Operating Instructions

Setting the Clock
- Press the Clock button (refer to Figure 5).
- Turn the rotary dial (Figure 6) to set the hour.
- Press the Clock button again.
- Turn the rotary dial to set the minutes.
- Press the Clock button one more time to confirm.
Microwave Cooking
- Place food in a microwave-safe container on the glass turntable.
- Close the oven door.
- Press the Microwave button (refer to Figure 5) repeatedly to select the desired power level (e.g., 100%, 80%, 50%, 30%, 10%).
- Turn the rotary dial (Figure 6) to set the cooking time.
- Press the Start button to begin cooking.
Grill Cooking
- Place food on the grill rack (Figure 3) and then on the glass turntable.
- Close the oven door.
- Press the Grill button (refer to Figure 5).
- Turn the rotary dial (Figure 6) to set the grilling time.
- Press the Start button to begin grilling.
Convection Cooking
- Place food in an oven-safe dish on the grill rack or directly on the turntable.
- Close the oven door.
- Press the Convection button (refer to Figure 5) repeatedly to select the desired temperature.
- Turn the rotary dial (Figure 6) to set the cooking time.
- Press the Start button to begin convection cooking.
Combination Cooking (Microwave + Grill / Convection)
The MW 9693 offers combined cooking modes for faster and more even results.
- Select the desired combination mode by pressing the appropriate button (e.g., Microwave+Grill or Microwave+Convection, refer to Figure 5).
- Turn the rotary dial (Figure 6) to set the cooking time.
- Press the Start button.
Auto Menu Programs
The oven features pre-set programs for common food items (Figure 4). These programs automatically set the cooking time and power level based on the food type and weight.
- Press the desired auto menu button (e.g., Vegetable, Pizza, Popcorn).
- Turn the rotary dial (Figure 6) to select the weight or quantity of the food.
- Press the Start button to begin.
Defrosting by Weight
- Place the frozen food in the oven.
- Press the Defrost button (refer to Figure 5).
- Turn the rotary dial (Figure 6) to select the weight of the food.
- Press the Start button to begin defrosting.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and proper maintenance will ensure the longevity and efficient operation of your microwave oven.
- Before Cleaning: Always unplug the oven from the power outlet before cleaning.
- Oven Interior: Wipe the interior cavity after each use with a damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use a mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Oven Door: Clean the door, door seals, and window with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Ensure no food particles accumulate in the door seal area.
- Glass Turntable and Roller Ring: These can be washed in warm soapy water or in a dishwasher. Ensure they are completely dry before placing them back in the oven.
