1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the QFX BT-ZX35 Portable Waterproof All Terrain Bluetooth Speaker. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, and maintaining your speaker. Please read it thoroughly before use to ensure optimal performance and longevity of the device.

The QFX BT-ZX35 is a versatile and durable speaker designed for various environments, offering powerful sound, dynamic LED lighting, and multiple connectivity options.

4. Controls and Indicators

Control Panel Functions

Button/Indicator	Function
Power Button (⏻)	Press and hold to Power ON or OFF. Quick press to toggle Light Modes. Double press to toggle between modes (FM, Bluetooth, AUX, USB Playback).
Bluetooth Indicator	Indicates Bluetooth connection status.
Charging Indicator	Indicates battery charging status.
AUX Indicator	Indicates AUX input mode.
Volume Down (-)	Press to decrease volume. Press and hold to skip to the previous track.
Play/Pause (►⏻)	Press to play or pause track. Press to answer or hang up calls.
Volume Up (+)	Press to increase volume. Press and hold to skip to the next track.

Rear Ports

Port	Description
USB Port	For USB drive playback.
AUX Port	For connecting external audio devices via 3.5mm cable.
USB-C Charger	For charging the speaker's internal battery.

5. Setup

5.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the provided power cable to the USB-C Charger port on the speaker and plug the other end into a suitable power outlet. The Charging Indicator will show the charging status.

5.2 Powering On/Off

Press and hold the Power Button (⏻) for approximately 3 seconds to turn the speaker ON or OFF.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Bluetooth Pairing

1. Ensure the speaker is powered ON and in Bluetooth mode (double-press the Power Button if needed until the Bluetooth Indicator flashes).
2. On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "QFX BT-ZX35" from the list.
4. Once paired, the Bluetooth Indicator will stop flashing and remain solid. You can now stream audio wirelessly.

6.2 FM Radio Operation

To switch to FM Radio mode, double-press the Power Button until the speaker announces "FM Mode".

• To auto-scan and save stations: Press and hold the Play/Pause button. The speaker will scan and save available FM stations.
• To change stations: Short press the Volume Up (+) or Volume Down (-) buttons to navigate through saved stations.

6.3 AUX Input

Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, smartphone) to the AUX Port using a 3.5mm audio cable. Double-press the Power Button until the speaker announces "AUX Mode". Audio will play from the connected device.

6.4 USB/TF Card Playback

Insert a USB drive or TF (microSD) card into the respective port. The speaker will automatically switch to USB/TF Card mode and begin playing compatible audio files. Double-press the Power Button if needed to cycle to this mode.

6.5 LED Light Modes

The speaker features dynamic LED lights. To cycle through the 3 different light modes or turn them off, quick press the Power Button (⏻).

The speaker offers various LED light patterns to enhance your listening experience, including a color cycle and music-activated modes.

6.6 Hands-Free Calling

When connected via Bluetooth, the speaker can be used for hands-free calls. Press the Play/Pause button to answer an incoming call or to hang up an ongoing call.

Easily manage phone calls directly from your speaker when connected via Bluetooth.

6.7 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing

To pair two BT-ZX35 speakers for TWS:

1. Ensure both speakers are powered ON and in Bluetooth mode, but not connected to any device.
2. On one speaker (this will be the master), press and hold the Play/Pause button until you hear a confirmation tone indicating TWS pairing mode.
3. The two speakers will automatically connect to each other.
4. Once connected, pair your mobile device to the master speaker via Bluetooth as described in section 6.1. Audio will now play in stereo across both speakers.

7. Maintenance and Care

• Keep the speaker clean by wiping it with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Ensure all ports are dry before charging or connecting external devices, especially after exposure to water.
• Store the speaker in a cool, dry place when not in use.
• Avoid exposing the speaker to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
