Setup
1. Connecting the Phone
- Connect one end of the telephone line cord to the LINE jack on the back of the base unit.
- Connect the other end of the telephone line cord to your wall telephone jack.
- Connect the coiled handset cord to the HANDSET jack on the side of the base unit and to the handset.
2. Battery Installation (for LCD Display)
The phone requires a battery to power the LCD display and retain caller ID memory. Locate the battery compartment, typically on the underside of the base unit. Insert the provided battery, observing the correct polarity (+/-). Connect the charger to the base unit and a power outlet to charge the battery.

Operating Instructions
Making a Call
- Lift the handset.
- Listen for a dial tone.
- Dial the desired phone number using the keypad.
Receiving a Call
When the phone rings, simply lift the handset to answer the call.
Using Caller ID
The phone's 7-segment 2-line LCD display shows incoming caller information (if subscribed to Caller ID service). The phone stores up to 30 call logs.
- To view call log: Press the CALLER ID button. Use the up/down arrow keys to scroll through the stored calls.
- To dial from call log: Select the desired number from the call log and lift the handset.
Redial Function
To redial the last number called, lift the handset and press the REDIAL button.
Mute Function
During a call, press the MUTE button to temporarily silence your microphone. The other party will not hear you. Press MUTE again to resume speaking.
Flash Function
The FLASH button is used for certain telephone company services, such as call waiting or transferring calls. Consult your telephone service provider for details on its use.

Maintenance
Cleaning

- LCD Display Not Working:
- Check if the battery is correctly installed and charged.
- Ensure the charger is connected to a power source.
- Cannot Make/Receive Calls:
- Verify all connections are secure.
- Confirm your telephone service is active.
- Buzzing Noise on Parallel Connection:
- This model may experience a buzzing noise if connected in an environment with parallel phone connections (two or more phones on the same line). This is a characteristic of the device and not a defect.
