  • Lid: ABS plastic lid that secures the juicing components.
  • Feeding Chute: Opening for introducing fruits and vegetables.
  • Food Pusher: Used to guide produce into the feeding chute.
  • Grating Disc Basket: 2.5 mm disc basket for extracting juice, designed for easy removal.
  • Juice Spout: Positioned with 10-inch clearance for direct dispensing into containers.
  • Pulp Container: 7.6 qt. translucent container for collecting ejected pulp.
  • Drip Tray: Helps maintain a clean work surface.
  • Magnetic Safety Switch: Ensures safe operation by preventing the motor from running if components are not correctly assembled.

4. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your juicer before first use:

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Clean: Wash all removable parts (lid, grating disc basket, pulp container, drip tray) with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. The motor base should be wiped with a damp cloth.
  3. Assemble: Place the motor base on a stable, flat surface. Insert the grating disc basket into the motor base. Secure the lid onto the motor base, ensuring it locks into place. Attach the pulp container to the side of the unit. Position the drip tray under the juice spout.
  4. Power Connection: Ensure the juicer is connected to a 120V electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

To operate your Robot Coupe J100 Juicer:

  1. Prepare Produce: Wash fruits and vegetables thoroughly. For larger items, cut them into pieces that fit easily into the feeding chute. Remove any hard pits or large seeds.
  2. Position Container: Place a pitcher or blender container under the juice spout. The 10-inch clearance allows for direct dispensing.
  3. Start Juicer: Press the 'ON' button to start the motor. The magnetic safety switch will ensure the unit only operates when correctly assembled.
  4. Feed Produce: Continuously add prepared fruits and vegetables into the feeding chute. Use the food pusher to gently guide the produce down. Do not force the produce. The auto-feed system will process the items efficiently.
  5. Continuous Pulp Ejection: The juicer will automatically eject pulp into the attached 7.6 qt. translucent pulp container. Alternatively, the pulp can be ejected into a waste bin positioned under your worktop.
  6. Stop Juicer: When finished juicing, press the 'OFF' button.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your juicer:

  • Disconnect Power: Always unplug the juicer from the electrical outlet before cleaning.
  • Disassemble: Remove the lid, grating disc basket, pulp container, and drip tray. The grating disc basket has two handles for easy, tool-free removal.
  • Hand Wash Only: All removable parts should be hand washed with warm, soapy water. Use a brush to clean the grating disc basket thoroughly to remove any pulp residue.
  • Rinse and Dry: Rinse all parts thoroughly with clean water and dry them completely before reassembly or storage.
  • Motor Base: Wipe the stainless steel motor base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor base in water or any other liquid.
  • Storage: Store the clean and dry juicer in a safe place.
