Basic Weighing:
- Ensure the scale is on a stable surface and displaying "0.0g".
- Gently place the item to be weighed onto the center of the weighing platform.
- Read the weight displayed on the LCD screen.
- Remove the item from the platform. The display should return to "0.0g".
Weighing Modes
The Weighmax NJ650-Red scale supports multiple weighing units. To switch between units:
- With the scale turned on and displaying "0.0", press the MODE button repeatedly.
- The display will cycle through the available units: grams (g), ounces (oz), and carats (ct).
- Stop pressing the button when your desired unit is displayed.
Tare Function
The Tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container or tray, so you can measure only the net weight of the contents.
- Place the empty container or the clear cover (used as a tray) onto the weighing platform.
- Wait for the display to stabilize and show the weight of the container.
- Press the TARE button. The display will reset to "0.0g" (or the current unit).
- Now, place the items you wish to weigh into the container. The display will show only the weight of the items, excluding the container.
- To clear the tare function, remove all items from the platform. The display will show a negative value equal to the container's weight. Press TARE again to return to "0.0g".
