Setup and Installation
1. Battery Insertion
Open the battery compartment on the device. Insert the two 1.5V LR6/Mignon/AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the battery compartment securely.
After battery insertion, the motor will move, and "InS" will appear on the display with an activity symbol. Wait until "InS" is displayed without the activity symbol before mounting the thermostat.

2. Mounting on the Radiator Valve
The thermostat is designed for easy installation without draining water or special tools. It is compatible with most common valve manufacturers (M30 x 1.5 mm thread, e.g., Heimeier, mng, Honeywell-Braukmann, Oventrop, Locks, Comap, Valf Sanayii, Idmar, Jaga, Junkers, Pegler, R.B.M, Watts). Adapters for Danfoss valves (RA, RAV, RAVL) are included.
- Ensure "InS" is displayed without the activity symbol.
- Place the radiator thermostat onto the valve.
- Tighten the union nut securely.
- Press the OK button if "InS" is still displayed.

3. Adaptation Run
After mounting, the thermostat performs an adaptation run to adjust to the valve. "AdA" and the activity symbol will be shown on the display. During this process, no operation is possible.
If the adaptation run was performed before mounting, or if an error message (F1, F2, F3) appears, press the OK button to return the motor to the "InS" position and re-attempt mounting and adaptation.
Operating Instructions
1. Basic Temperature Setting
Adjust the desired temperature (0.5°C precise) directly and intuitively using the rotary wheel on the device.
2. Operating Modes
Press the Mode button briefly to select one of the three operating modes (modes can only be selected after successful installation/adaptation):
- Auto: Automatic temperature regulation according to the stored weekly program.
- Manu: Manual operation. The temperature is set manually with the rotary wheel and maintained until changed.
- Holiday Function: Set a specific temperature to be maintained until a determined time/date.
3. Weekly Program Setup
The weekly program allows setting up to 3 heating phases (7 switching points) for each day of the week. Temperatures can be programmed for time intervals between 00:00 and 23:59.
- Press and hold the Menu button for more than 3 seconds. "Pro" will appear on the display. Confirm with OK.
- "DAY" will be displayed. Use the rotary wheel to select a single day, all weekdays, weekend, or the entire week. Confirm with OK.
- The first switching point (0:00) is displayed and cannot be changed. Confirm with OK.
- Set the desired temperature for 0:00 using the rotary wheel (e.g., 17.0°C). Confirm with OK.
- The next switching point (e.g., 06:00) is displayed. This can be changed. Set the desired temperature for this time.
- Repeat this process until all 7 switching points (temperatures between 0:00 and 23:59) are set.
- Once all 7 switching points are programmed, 23:59 will be indicated as the final time and must be confirmed.
Factory Preset Program (for all days):
- 00:00 - 06:00: 17.0°C
- 06:00 - 09:00: 21.0°C
- 09:00 - 17:00: 17.0°C
- 17:00 - 23:00: 21.0°C
- 23:00 - 23:59: 17.0°C
In automatic mode, the temperature can be temporarily changed with the rotary wheel. This modified temperature remains active until the next programmed switching point.
4. Boost Function
The Boost function allows for rapid, short-term heating of the radiator. Press the Boost button to activate. The duration and temperature of the boost can typically be configured in the settings.
5. Child Protection / Control Lock
To prevent unintended changes, the device features a child protection/control lock. Refer to the device's on-screen menu for activation and deactivation procedures.
Maintenance
1. Valve Protection
The thermostat performs an automatic calcification protection cycle through regular valve movement. This typically occurs once a week, for example, on Saturday at 12:00, to prevent mineral buildup.
2. Battery Replacement
When the battery symbol appears on the display, the batteries are low and need to be replaced. Replace both AA batteries as described in the "Battery Insertion" section.
Troubleshooting
| Error Message / Symbol | Description | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Battery Symbol | Insufficient battery power. | Replace the batteries. |
| F1 | Valve actuator is stiff or stuck. | Check the installation and the radiator valve for obstructions. |
| F2 | Setting range is too extended. | Verify the actuator's attachment and ensure it is securely fastened. |
| F3 | Setting range is too small. | Check the radiator valve for proper function and movement. |
Other Settings (Configuration Menu)
To access the configuration menu, press and hold the Menu button for more than 3 seconds. Use the rotary wheel to navigate and OK to confirm. Press Menu again to go back. The menu closes automatically after 65 seconds of inactivity.
- PRO: Weekly program settings (as described above).
- DAT: Adjust time and date.
- POS: Query current actuator position.
- DST: Deactivate automatic daylight saving time adjustment.
- AER: Set temperature and time for the "Open Window" function, which automatically reduces temperature when ventilating.
- TOF: Set temperature offset (compensation for measured temperature).
- RES: Reset to factory settings.
