Setup and Assembly

The Larin MAL-2C Utility Jack requires minimal assembly. Follow these general steps:

2. Attach Wheels: Securely attach the wheels to the jack frame using the provided hardware. Ensure locking wheels are positioned correctly.

Operating Instructions

Lifting a Vehicle:

1. Prepare the Vehicle: Ensure the vehicle is on a flat, level, and solid surface. Turn off the engine, engage the parking brake, and block the wheels not being lifted.
2. Position the Jack: Roll the jack under the vehicle, ensuring the lifting platforms are centered and making contact with a solid part of the vehicle's frame or designated lifting points. Use the universal adapter if necessary.
3. Secure the Vehicle: Use the provided tie-down straps to secure the vehicle to the jack's lifting platforms. This prevents accidental movement.
4. Raise the Jack: Repeatedly press the foot pedal to raise the jack. The automatic side-safety brakes will engage at each of the 5 positions as the jack rises.
5. Engage Safety Locks: Once the desired height is reached, ensure the automatic side-safety brakes are fully engaged. Lock the wheels on the jack for additional stability.
6. Add Jack Stands (Recommended): For prolonged work or maximum safety, place appropriately rated jack stands under the vehicle's frame at secure points.

Lowering a Vehicle:

1. Remove Jack Stands: If used, carefully remove any jack stands from under the vehicle.
2. Release Safety Locks: Disengage the jack's wheel locks and any other manual safety mechanisms.
3. Lower the Jack: Slowly and carefully press the lowering release foot pedal. Control the rate of descent. Do not allow the vehicle to drop rapidly.
4. Remove Jack: Once the vehicle is fully on the ground, remove the tie-down straps and roll the jack away.
