This commercial ice machine is designed to produce up to 80 lbs of clear ice cubes daily, with a storage capacity of 20 lbs. Its compact design allows for flexible installation as an undercounter or freestanding unit.

Setup and Installation

Proper installation is crucial for the performance and longevity of your ice machine. Please follow these steps carefully.

Unpacking:

  1. Carefully remove all packaging materials.
  2. Inspect the ice machine for any shipping damage. Report any damage to your supplier immediately.
  3. Ensure all accessories are present: Ice Scoop, In-Line Hose, Drain Hose.

Location Requirements:

Water and Drain Connections:

  1. Connect the supplied in-line hose to a potable water supply. Ensure the water pressure is within the recommended range (15-80 PSI).
  2. Connect the drain hose to a suitable drain. Important: If your drain outlet height is more than 5.9 inches, or if the drain outlet is further than 12 inches from the ice machine, a separate drain pump must be installed. This unit does not include a built-in drain pump.
  3. Ensure all connections are secure and leak-free.

Control Panel (Refer to Figure 3):

Initial Operation:

  1. After connecting water and power, press the Power button to turn on the unit.
  2. The ice making process will begin automatically. The first few cycles may produce smaller or irregular ice cubes. This is normal.
  3. Allow the unit to run for several hours to stabilize ice production.

Ice Making Reservation:

The unit supports setting a reservation time for ice making, allowing you to schedule when the ice production starts or stops.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of your ice machine.

  1. Ensure the ice bin is empty.
  2. Add a small amount of ice machine cleaner (food-grade) to the water reservoir as per cleaner instructions.
  3. Press and hold the "Clean" button (often integrated with the Power button, refer to Figure 3) to activate the auto-cleaning cycle.
  4. Once the cycle is complete, drain the cleaning solution and rinse the unit thoroughly with fresh water by running several ice-making cycles and discarding the ice.

Condenser Cleaning:

Periodically clean the condenser coils to ensure efficient operation. This should be done by a qualified technician or by following specific instructions in a more detailed service manual.
