Setup
1. Charge the Robot
Place the Braava 380t on the Turbo-Charge Cradle. Ensure the power cord is connected to the cradle and a wall outlet. The robot's indicator lights will show charging status. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours.
2. Install NorthStar Navigation Cube Batteries
Open the battery compartment on the NorthStar Navigation Cube and insert the 2 C batteries (included), ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment securely.
3. Prepare the Cleaning Pad
For Wet Mopping: Attach the Pro-Clean Reservoir Pad to the robot. Fill the reservoir with water (and cleaning solution if desired, compatible with iRobot reusable microfiber cloths or other disposable cleaning cloths). Secure a damp microfiber mopping cloth to the pad.
For Dry Sweeping: Attach the Multi-Purpose Cleaning Pad to the robot. Secure a dry microfiber sweeping cloth or a disposable dry sweeping cloth to the pad.
4. Place the NorthStar Navigation Cube
Position the NorthStar Navigation Cube in an elevated, central location within the area you wish to clean. The cube helps Braava track its location and ensures thorough coverage.
Operating the Braava 380t
1. Select Cleaning Mode
Press the MOP button for wet mopping or the SWEEP button for dry sweeping. The robot will begin cleaning automatically.
The Braava 380t uses iAdapt 2.0 Navigation to keep track of where it has been and where it needs to go, navigating around objects and under furniture. Its Maximized-Edge Design allows it to get into corners and along edges effectively.

2. Expand Cleaning Area (Optional)
For larger spaces, additional NorthStar Navigation Cubes can be used to expand the cleaning range. Ensure each cube is set to a different channel to avoid interference.
3. End Cleaning Cycle
Braava will return to its starting point when the cleaning cycle is complete or when its battery is low. You can also press the POWER button to pause or end a cleaning cycle manually.

Maintenance
1. Clean Cleaning Pads
After each use, remove the microfiber cleaning cloth from the pad. Hand wash or machine wash the reusable microfiber cloths. Dispose of single-use cloths.
2. Empty Pro-Clean Reservoir Pad
If using the Pro-Clean Reservoir Pad, empty any remaining water and rinse the reservoir thoroughly after each use to prevent residue buildup.
3. Clean the Robot
Wipe down the exterior of the Braava 380t with a dry cloth. Periodically clean the wheels and sensors to ensure proper navigation and performance.
4. Battery Care
For optimal battery life, keep the robot charged when not in use. If storing the robot for an extended period, fully charge the battery and remove it from the robot.
