Setup: Programming Your Remote
To program your new Viper 7345V remote control to your existing Viper system, follow these steps carefully. Ensure the system's Valet/Program switch is plugged into the BLUE port before beginning.
- Door: Open a vehicle door.
- Key: Turn the vehicle's ignition key to the ON position.
- Choose Channel: Within 5 seconds, press and release the Valet/Program button the number of times corresponding to the desired channel (see table below). After selecting the channel, press the Valet/Program button once more and hold it. The system's LED will flash the same number of times as the selected channel, and the siren will chirp to confirm the selection. DO NOT release the Valet/Program button yet.
- Transmit: While still holding the Valet/Program button, press the desired button on the new transmitter (remote control). The unit will chirp to confirm that the transmitter has been successfully programmed to the receiver.
- Release: Once the code is learned, you may release the Valet/Program button and remove the ignition key.
