4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove all packaging materials. Inspect the refrigerator for any damage. Report any damage to your retailer immediately.

4.2 Placement

• Place the refrigerator on a firm, level surface.
• Ensure adequate ventilation around the appliance. Leave at least 10 cm (4 inches) of space at the back and sides, and 30 cm (12 inches) at the top for proper air circulation.
• Avoid direct sunlight or proximity to heat sources (e.g., stoves, radiators).
• The dimensions of the refrigerator are approximately 71.6 cm (Depth) x 61.5 cm (Width) x 167.6 cm (Height). Ensure sufficient space for door opening.

4.3 Leveling

Adjust the leveling feet at the bottom front of the refrigerator to ensure it is stable and level. This prevents vibrations and ensures proper door sealing.

4.4 Electrical Connection

• Connect the refrigerator to a dedicated 220 Volt AC power outlet.
• The appliance features Stabilizer Free Operation, designed to handle voltage fluctuations within a specified range. However, for areas with extreme voltage instability, a separate stabilizer may be considered.
• Do not use extension cords or adapters.

4.5 Initial Cleaning

Before first use, wipe the interior and exterior surfaces with a soft cloth dampened with a mild detergent solution. Rinse and dry thoroughly.

5.1 Powering On

5.3 Fast Freeze Setting

To rapidly freeze items, activate the Fast Freeze setting via the Touch UI. This will lower the freezer temperature to -24°C. Deactivate this setting once items are frozen to conserve energy.

5.4 Storage Recommendations

• Utilize the 4 door racks for beverages and frequently accessed items.
• Place fruits and vegetables in the dedicated crisper drawer, which uses Zeolite Technology to maintain optimal moisture.
• Distribute food evenly on the toughened glass shelves. Avoid overloading any single shelf.

6. Maintenance and Care

6.1 Cleaning

• Interior: Clean the interior regularly with a solution of mild soap and warm water. Wipe dry with a soft cloth. The Microblock Technology helps inhibit bacterial growth, but regular cleaning is still recommended.
• Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. For Arctic Steel finish, use a stainless steel cleaner if necessary, following product instructions.
• Door Gaskets: Clean door gaskets with warm water to ensure a tight seal.
• Anti-Odour Action: While the refrigerator has anti-odour features, promptly clean up spills and store strong-smelling foods in airtight containers.

6.2 Defrosting

This is a Frost Free refrigerator, meaning the freezer compartment automatically defrosts. Manual defrosting is not required for the freezer. The fresh food compartment may accumulate some moisture, which is normal and will evaporate.
