Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside or rear of the radio.
- Using a small screwdriver, carefully remove the screw(s) securing the battery compartment cover.
- Insert four (4) AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw(s).
- Important: Use only new, high-quality AA alkaline batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
2. Antenna Adjustment
The radio features an integrated antenna. For optimal reception, extend the antenna fully and adjust its position until the desired signal clarity is achieved.
Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off
To turn the radio on, rotate the tuning dial (often located on the side or top) clockwise until you hear a click and the radio powers on. To turn off, rotate the dial counter-clockwise until it clicks off.
2. Selecting Band (AM/FM)
Press the AM button to switch to Amplitude Modulation (AM) band. Press the FM button to switch to Frequency Modulation (FM) band.
3. Tuning to a Station
Use the large tuning dial (typically on the side or top of the unit) to scan for radio stations. Slowly rotate the dial until you find a clear signal for your desired station.
4. Adjusting Volume
Use the VOLUME + button to increase the volume and the VOLUME - button to decrease the volume.
