Setup Guide
1. Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the device using the provided USB-C cable. Connect the cable to the charging port on the machine and a compatible 5V/3A USB power adapter (not included). The battery indicator lights will show charging progress.
2. Preparing the Machine
Ensure the water reservoir is clean. Remove the top lid and fill the stainless steel reservoir with fresh water. Do not exceed the maximum fill line (70ml).
Choose your preferred coffee method: ground coffee or Nespresso capsule.
Operating Instructions
1. Using Nespresso Capsules
- Unscrew the bottom part of the machine and remove the ground coffee filter.
- Insert a Nespresso-compatible capsule into the capsule adapter.
- Screw the capsule adapter firmly back onto the bottom of the machine.
- Fill the water reservoir with water (up to 70ml for a standard espresso).
- Press the power button once to start heating the water. The LED lights will indicate heating progress.
- Once heating is complete (all LED lights are solid), place your cup under the machine and press the power button again to start extraction.
2. Using Ground Coffee
- Unscrew the bottom part of the machine and ensure the ground coffee filter is in place.
- Add 10-12g of medium-fine ground coffee into the filter basket. Use the dosing funnel to prevent spills.
- Distribute the coffee grounds evenly using the distribution needle (if available).
- Tamp the coffee firmly and level with the included tamper.
- Screw the filter basket firmly back onto the bottom of the machine.
- Fill the water reservoir with water (up to 70ml for a standard espresso).
- Press the power button once to start heating the water. The LED lights will indicate heating progress.
- Once heating is complete (all LED lights are solid), place your cup under the machine and press the power button again to start extraction.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your OutIn Mino.
- After Each Use: Disassemble the bottom parts (filter basket, capsule adapter). Rinse all removable parts with warm water.
- Main Unit: Wipe the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
- Dishwasher Safety: The OutIn Mino is NOT dishwasher safe. Hand wash all components.
- Descaling: Periodically descale the machine according to general espresso machine descaling guidelines, using a descaling solution suitable for coffee makers.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your OutIn Mino, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Machine Not Heating/Extracting: Ensure the battery is sufficiently charged. If using cold water, allow adequate time for heating (approx. 2.5-3 minutes).
- Poor Extraction/No Crema: For ground coffee: Ensure coffee is ground to a fine espresso consistency. Tamp firmly and evenly. Check that the filter basket is not overfilled (10-12g recommended). For capsules: Ensure the capsule is properly inserted and punctured. Check water level in the reservoir.
- Water Leakage: Ensure all parts are screwed on tightly and the rubber gaskets are properly seated.
- Machine Not Charging: Verify the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the machine and a compatible 5V/3A power adapter.
