4. Setup

Follow these steps for the initial setup of your fan:

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove the fan from its packaging. Retain the packaging for storage or future transport.
  2. Placement: Place the fan on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the fan for proper airflow and to prevent obstruction of the grilles.
  3. Stability Check: Verify that the anti-slip feet are securely positioned and the fan is stable.

5. Operating Instructions

Your Orbegozo Box Fan is designed for ease of use. Follow these steps to operate your fan:

5.1. Power On/Off and Speed Selection

  • Plug the fan into a suitable electrical outlet.
  • Turn the Speed Selector knob (labeled 0-1-2-3) to your desired speed setting:
    • 0: Off
    • 1: Low speed
    • 2: Medium speed
    • 3: High speed
  • To turn off the fan, rotate the Speed Selector knob back to '0'.

5.2. Rotary Diffuser Function

The fan features a rotary diffuser that helps distribute air more widely across the room.

  • Press the MOVE button on the control panel to activate the rotary diffuser. The internal grille will begin to rotate, oscillating the airflow.
  • Press the STOP button to halt the rotation and direct airflow in a fixed direction.

5.3. Timer Function

The integrated timer allows you to set the fan to operate for a specific duration, up to 120 minutes (2 hours).

  • Rotate the TIMER knob to the desired operating time (e.g., 60 minutes, 120 minutes).
  • The fan will automatically turn off once the set time has elapsed.
  • To operate the fan continuously without the timer, set the timer knob to the 'I' position.

6. Maintenance

Regular cleaning and proper maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your fan.

6.1. Cleaning

  • Always unplug the fan from the power outlet before cleaning.
  • Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces of the fan. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • For dust accumulation on the grilles, use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment or compressed air to gently remove dust.
  • Do not allow water to drip into the motor housing or other electrical components.
  • Ensure the fan is completely dry before plugging it back in.

6.2. Storage

When not in use for extended periods, store the fan in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging, to protect it from dust and damage.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your fan, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
