2. Setup and Programming

2.1 Battery Installation

The remote control requires 2 AAA batteries. To install, slide off the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote and insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Replace the cover.

2.2 Patented Code Setup (Direct Input)

To program the remote using direct code input:

  1. Find the codes from the provided code table that correspond to your equipment's brand. There may be multiple groups of codes per brand.
  2. Try the first group. If it does not operate your equipment, try the second, and so on, until the remote operates your equipment correctly. For example, if the brand is ALPIN, you can choose 0252. If it does not work, please try code 0253, etc.
  3. Press the "SELECT" key. The code on the LCD will flash.
  4. Enter the 4-digit code. For example, to enter "0252", press the "0" key, "2" key, "5" key, and "2" key. The last number flashing, then press the "ENTER" key. The last number will stop flashing.
  5. Finally, press the "ON/OFF" key. If the code "0252" stops flashing, the code entry is complete. The remote control confirms the code automatically, and you can use the numeric key normally. You can now operate your air conditioner.
  6. After the air conditioner can use the function keys, if they do not work well, please choose the next group of code until all the functions can work. The remote control is 2000 codes in one, so it is invalid when the code is greater than 1999.

2.3 Auto-Search Code Setting

If you do not know the brand of your air conditioner, or if your brand is not listed in the code table, follow these steps:

  1. Put the remote control on your air conditioner. Press the "SELECT" key for 5 seconds and then release. The remote control enters the auto-search status, emitting a signal continuously. The code flashes and increases. While the air conditioner receives the signal, and sends one buzzer, press any key to confirm.
  2. Try other function keys. If they do not work, repeat the above steps until it is correct.
