3. Setup
3.1 Power Connection
Connect the provided power cable to the mixer's power input and then to a suitable AC outlet. Ensure the power switch is in the 'OFF' position before connecting.
3.2 Audio Input Connections
- Microphones: Use XLR cables to connect microphones to the MIC inputs (channels 1-4). Activate +48V phantom power for condenser microphones using the PHANTOM switch.
- Line-Level Devices: Connect instruments or other line-level audio sources to the LINE IN inputs using 1/4" TRS or TS cables. Stereo channels (5/6, 7/8) can accommodate stereo sources.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Channel Controls
- GAIN: Adjusts the input sensitivity for each channel. Set it so the CLIP LED flashes only occasionally.
- EQ (Equalizer): Use the HIGH, MID, and LOW knobs to shape the tone of each channel.
- AUX: Controls the amount of signal sent to the auxiliary sends for external effects or monitor mixes.
- PAN: Adjusts the stereo position of the channel signal.
- MUTE: Silences the channel.
- SOLO: Isolates the channel for monitoring through headphones or control room outputs.
- LEVEL Fader: Controls the overall volume of the channel in the main mix.
4.2 Compressor Usage
The QX1204USB features "one-knob" compressors on channels 1-4. Turn the COMP knob clockwise to increase compression. The LED indicates when compression is active.
4.3 FX Processor Operation
The KLARK TEKNIK FX processor offers a variety of effects. Use the PROGRAM knob to select an effect, and the PARAMETER knobs to adjust its settings. The TAP button can be used for tempo-based effects.
4.4 USB Audio Interface
