Setup

1. Assemble the Ball Head Mount: The ball head mount comes with a 1/4"-20 screw. If you intend to use it with the cold shoe adapter, ensure it is securely attached. If you need to remove the cold shoe adapter, unscrew it from the base of the ball head.
2. Attach Ball Head to Clamp: The clamp features a 1/4"-20 threaded hole. Screw the ball head mount onto this threaded hole on the clamp. Use the provided hex spanner to tighten the screw for a secure connection.
3. Adjust the Clamp Jaw: The clamp jaw can be adjusted from 15mm (0.6") to 40mm (1.57") using the T-shape bar. Rotate the T-shape bar to open or close the jaws to fit your desired mounting surface. The jaws are equipped with protective rubber padding to prevent damage.

Operating

1. Mount Your Device: Attach your monitor, action camera, LED light, microphone, flash, or any other gear with a 1/4" thread to the 1/4"-20 screw on the ball head mount. Ensure it is tightened securely.
2. Secure the Clamp: Position the clamp on your desired surface (e.g., table, desk, rod, tripod leg). Rotate the T-shape bar to tighten the clamp jaws firmly around the surface. The protective rubber pads will help prevent slippage and damage.
3. Adjust Viewing Angle: Use the wing nut on the ball head to loosen or tighten the articulation. This allows for 360-degree rotation and tilt, enabling you to achieve the perfect viewing or recording angle. Once adjusted, tighten the wing nut to lock the position.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the clamp and ball head with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and debris. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the finish or rubber padding.
• Inspection: Periodically check all screws and moving parts to ensure they are tight and functioning correctly. If any part feels loose, tighten it with the provided hex spanner or appropriate tool.
• Storage: Store the clamp in a dry, clean environment away from extreme temperatures and humidity to prolong its lifespan.

Troubleshooting

• Clamp not holding securely: Ensure the T-shape bar is fully tightened. Check that the surface you are clamping to is within the 15mm-40mm jaw range. The rubber padding should be intact and clean for optimal grip.
• Ball head not staying in position: Tighten the wing nut on the ball head firmly. If the issue persists, ensure the 1/4"-20 screw connecting the ball head to the clamp is also tight.
• Device wobbles on ball head: Verify that your device is securely screwed onto the 1/4"-20 thread of the ball head.
