5. Setup and Operating Instructions

The Claber Aquauno Programmer features a simple, one-program setup for daily automatic watering.

5.1. Programming the Watering Duration

  1. Ensure the tap is open.
  2. Press the green START button to begin watering. Water will start flowing.
  3. Allow the water to flow for the desired duration (minimum 1 minute, maximum 60 minutes).
  4. Once the desired watering time has passed, press the red STOP button. The water flow will cease.
  5. The programmer has now memorized this watering duration. It will automatically repeat this cycle once every 24 hours at the same time you pressed the green START button.

5.2. Manual Operation / Resetting the Program

  • To manually start watering outside of the programmed cycle, simply press the green START button. Water will flow until you press the red STOP button. This manual operation does not affect the stored daily program.
  • To reset the stored program and set a new watering duration, repeat the steps in section 5.1. The new duration will overwrite the previous one.

6. Maintenance

6.1. Battery Replacement

The programmer is powered by a 9V alkaline battery. When the battery level is low (approximately 8V), the device will automatically switch to a 48-hour watering cycle to conserve energy. Replace the battery as soon as possible to ensure continuous operation. Refer to section 4.1 for battery installation instructions.

6.2. Winter Storage

Before the first frost, remove the programmer from the tap. Drain any remaining water and store the device in a dry, frost-free location indoors. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and extreme temperature fluctuations (especially freezing) can reduce the product's lifespan.
