1. Overview

The HUION P68 Battery Pen is a digital stylus designed for use with specific Huion graphics drawing tablets. It provides precise input for digital art, design, and other creative tasks. The pen requires one AAA battery for operation and features two customizable buttons for enhanced functionality.

2. Compatibility

The P68 Battery Pen is specifically designed for use with the following Huion graphics tablets:

Important: This pen is not compatible with INSPIRPOY-SERIES (Q11K, Q620M, G10T, H950P, H640P, H430P, H1060P), HS-Series (HS64, HS610, HS611, H320M), GT-SERIES (GT-156HD V2, GT-185, GT-190, GT-191, GT-1901, GT-2201, GT-220 V2, GT-221), or Kamvas-series (Kamvas 12/13/16/22 Plus) tablets. It will also not work with any Huion Pen Display Monitors, phones, PCs, computers, screens, iPads, Wacom tablets, or any other touch screen devices.

3. Setup

3.1 Installing the Battery

  1. Unscrew the top section of the pen to reveal the battery compartment.
  2. Insert one AAA battery into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity.
  3. Screw the top section back onto the pen until it is secure. Avoid over-tightening, as this may affect battery contact.
  4. Press the On/Off button located on the top of the pen to activate it.

3.2 Connecting to Your Tablet

Once the battery is installed and the pen is turned on, it should automatically connect to your compatible Huion graphics tablet when brought into proximity. Ensure your tablet is powered on and its drivers are correctly installed on your computer.

4. Operating the Pen

4.1 Basic Usage

Hold the pen as you would a regular pen or pencil. The pen tip acts as your cursor on the tablet surface. Pressing the tip onto the tablet registers a click or drawing stroke, with pressure sensitivity varying based on your tablet model and software settings.

4.2 Customizable Buttons

The P68 pen features two buttons on its side. These buttons can be customized through your Huion tablet's driver software to perform various functions, such as right-click, scroll, undo, or specific application shortcuts. Refer to your tablet's driver settings for customization options.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Replacing Pen Nibs

Over time, the pen nib may wear down and require replacement to maintain optimal performance. Follow these steps:

  1. Use the included pen nib clip to gently grasp the worn nib.
  2. Pull the nib straight out from the pen.
  3. Insert a new nib firmly into the pen until it is securely seated.

5.2 Battery Replacement

When the pen's performance degrades or it stops responding, it may be time to replace the AAA battery. Refer to Section 3.1 for battery installation instructions.
