Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the turntable from its packaging. Retain all packaging materials for future transport or service.
  2. Power Connection: Connect the power adapter to the DC IN jack on the rear of the unit and plug it into a wall outlet.
  3. Platter Setup: Ensure the platter is securely seated. Remove any shipping materials or twist ties from the tonearm.
  4. Tonearm Protection: Unlock the tonearm clip to release the tonearm.

Operating Instructions

Playing Records:

  1. Open the turntable lid.
  2. Place a record on the turntable platter.
  3. Select the appropriate speed (33 1/3, 45, or 78 RPM) using the speed selector switch. For 45 RPM records, place the included 45 RPM adapter on the center spindle.
  4. Turn the ON/OFF/VOLUME knob clockwise to power on the unit and adjust the volume.
  5. Release the tonearm from its rest.
  6. Gently place the stylus on the desired track of the record. The platter will begin to rotate.
  7. At the end of the record, the turntable will stop automatically, but the tonearm will not return to its rest. Manually return the tonearm to its rest and secure it with the clip.

Using Auxiliary Input:

Connect an external audio device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) to the AUX IN jack on the rear of the turntable using a 3.5mm audio cable. The audio from the external device will play through the turntable's speakers.

USB Conversion:

The turntable allows you to convert your vinyl records into digital audio files using a computer. You will need to install audio recording software (e.g., Audacity, often included or available for download) on your computer.

  1. Connect the turntable to your computer using the supplied USB cable.
  2. Install and open the audio recording software on your computer.
  3. Follow the software's instructions to configure the input device (your turntable) and begin recording.
  4. Play your vinyl record as described above while recording through the software.
  5. Save your digital audio files in your preferred format.

Maintenance

Stylus Care:

  • Avoid touching the stylus tip with your fingers.
  • Clean the stylus regularly with a soft brush, brushing from back to front.
  • Replace the stylus approximately every 250-300 hours of use, or if you notice a decrease in sound quality.

Record Care:

  • Handle records by their edges to avoid touching the grooves.
  • Store records in their sleeves and upright in a cool, dry place.
  • Clean records with a dedicated record cleaning brush or solution to remove dust and static.

General Unit Care:

  • Wipe the turntable's exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Keep the lid closed when not in use to protect the platter and tonearm from dust.
