2. Important Safety Instructions

To prevent injury or damage to the appliance, always follow these basic safety precautions:

4. Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the rice cooker and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future transport or storage.
2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the inner pot, inner lid, measuring cup, and rice spatula with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth.
3. Placement: Place the rice cooker on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit. Do not place it near walls or under cabinets that could be damaged by steam.
4. Power Connection: Ensure the voltage of your power supply matches the rating label on the appliance (240 Volts). Plug the power cord securely into a grounded electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Cooking Rice

1. Measure Rice: Use the provided measuring cup to measure the desired amount of rice. For best results, rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
2. Add Rice to Inner Pot: Place the rinsed rice into the inner pot.
3. Add Water: Add the appropriate amount of water. A general guideline is a 1:1 ratio of rice to water (e.g., 1 cup rice to 1 cup water), but this may vary based on rice type and desired consistency. The inner pot has water level markings for convenience.
4. Place Inner Pot: Ensure the exterior of the inner pot is dry, then place it securely into the main unit.
5. Close Lid: Close the main lid firmly until it clicks into place.
6. Start Cooking: Press the 'COOK' button. The 'COOK' indicator light will illuminate, indicating that the cooking cycle has begun.
7. Automatic Keep Warm: Once cooking is complete, the appliance will automatically switch to the 'WARM' function. The 'COOK' light will turn off, and the 'WARM' light will illuminate.
