4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
The safe requires 4 AA alkaline batteries (included). The battery compartment is typically located on the inside of the safe door or behind the keypad cover.
- Open the safe door using the emergency key if it's the first time or if batteries are depleted.
- Locate the battery compartment.
- Insert 4 new AA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover.

4.2 Initial Code Setup

- With the safe door open, press the internal reset button (usually a small red or green button located on the inside of the door near the hinge).
- The indicator light on the keypad will illuminate.
- Enter your desired 4 to 8 digit code on the keypad.

- The indicator light will flash, confirming the new code is set.
- Test the new code with the door open before closing it.
4.3 Mounting the Safe

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Opening the Safe with Your Code
- Enter your 4 to 8 digit personal code on the keypad.
- Press the 'A' or '#' button to confirm.
- If the code is correct, the green indicator light will illuminate, and you will hear a beep.
- Within 5 seconds, turn the knob clockwise to open the safe door.
5.2 Changing the User Code
You can change your personal code at any time.
- Open the safe door using your current code.
- Locate and press the internal reset button.
- The indicator light will illuminate.
- Enter your new 4 to 8 digit code.
- Press the 'A' or '#' button to confirm.
- The indicator light will flash, confirming the new code is set.
- Test the new code with the door open before closing it.
5.3 Using the Emergency Key
The emergency key provides manual access to the safe in situations such as forgotten code or depleted batteries.
- Locate the emergency keyhole, usually hidden behind a small cover on the keypad panel.
- Remove the cover.
- Insert the emergency key into the keyhole and turn it clockwise.
- While holding the key turned, turn the knob on the keypad clockwise to open the safe door.
- Once open, remove the emergency key.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Battery Replacement
When the batteries are low, the indicator light may flash or the keypad may not respond. Replace all 4 AA batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation.
- Open the safe door.
