Setup

1. Mounting the Fluid Head: Attach the MVH500AH fluid head to your tripod or support using the 3/8" screw attachment type located at the base of the head. Ensure it is securely tightened.
2. Attaching the Pan Bar: The pan bar can be attached to either the left or right side of the fluid head, depending on your preference. Insert the pan bar into the rosette and tighten the locking knob.
3. Mounting the Camera:
   • Attach the 500PLONG sliding quick release plate to the bottom of your camera.
   • Utilize the side lock system: Position the camera with the attached plate directly over the head and click it into place from above. This system eliminates the need to slide the plate in from the back.
   • Adjust the sliding plate to achieve perfect balance for your camera setup. The head has a pre-set counterbalance of 2.4kg (5.3 lbs) and supports equipment up to 5kg (11 lbs).
4. Attaching Accessories: Use the Easy Link 3/8" connector on the side of the head to attach accessories such as external monitors, lights, or microphones.
