4.1 Key Components

5. Setup
5.1 Unpacking and Placement
- Carefully remove the HZ-500 from its packaging.

- Open the flight case lid to access the machine's controls and fluid reservoir.
5.2 Filling the Fluid Reservoir
- Locate the fluid reservoir cap on the top of the unit.
- Unscrew the cap and carefully pour Antari HZ-500 series haze fluid into the reservoir.
- Monitor the fluid level using the transparent indicator. Do not overfill. The maximum fluid level is clearly marked.
- Securely replace the reservoir cap.

5.3 Power Connection
- Connect the provided power cord to the power input socket on the rear of the HZ-500.
- Plug the other end of the power cord into a suitable grounded electrical outlet.
- Ensure the power switch is in the OFF position before connecting to power.
5.4 Control Connection (Optional)
- DMX Control: Connect a DMX cable from your DMX controller to the DMX IN port on the HZ-500. If linking multiple DMX devices, connect from DMX OUT to the next device's DMX IN.

6.4 Shutting Down
- Turn off the haze output.
- Flip the main power switch to the OFF position.
