Safety Information

Please read all instructions carefully before use. Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury or damage to the product.

Setup and Installation

The Medline Bathtub Grab Bar features a tool-free assembly and installation process. Follow these steps to securely attach the grab bar to your bathtub.

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. You should have the main grab bar frame and the adjustable clamp mechanism.
  2. Position the Grab Bar: Place the grab bar over the side of your bathtub, ensuring the main vertical support is on the inside of the tub and the clamp mechanism is on the outside.
  3. Adjust Clamp: Locate the large, easy-to-turn knob on the clamp mechanism. Turn the knob counter-clockwise to open the clamp wide enough to fit over your tub rim.
  4. Secure to Tub: Position the grab bar firmly against the tub rim. Turn the knob clockwise to tighten the clamp. Continue tightening until the grab bar is firmly secured and does not wobble or move.
  5. Verify Stability: Before first use, apply gentle downward pressure to the grab bar to ensure it is stable and does not shift. If it moves, re-tighten the clamp.
