Safety Information

Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the Power File unit.
- Slide the cover open.
- Insert 2 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Slide the battery compartment cover back into place until it clicks securely.

2. Attaching/Detaching Tools
- Ensure the Power File unit is turned OFF.
- Select the desired attachment.
- Gently push the attachment onto the spindle at the top of the Power File unit until it is firmly seated.
- To remove, gently pull the attachment straight off the spindle.

Operating Instructions
General Operation
- After installing batteries and attaching the desired tool, slide the power switch to the 'ON' position.
- The unit features two speed settings. Slide the switch further for a higher speed, or back for a lower speed.
- Gently apply the rotating attachment to your nail. Avoid excessive pressure, which can cause heat or damage.
- Move the tool in small, controlled motions across the nail surface.
- When finished, slide the power switch to the 'OFF' position.

Attachment Functions
- Cone Shaped File: Ideal for shaping and filing the edges of nails, especially thicker nails or toenails.
- Emery Disc: Used for general filing and shaping of nail edges.
- Nail Polish Dryer: A fan attachment to help quickly dry regular nail polish.
- Medium Grit Barrel File: Suitable for refining nail shape and smoothing rough edges.
- Detail Cone: For precise work, such as cleaning under the nail or around the cuticles.

Maintenance
Cleaning
- Always ensure the unit is OFF and batteries are removed before cleaning.
- Wipe the main unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse in water.
- Clean attachments after each use. Most attachments can be gently brushed to remove nail dust. For thorough cleaning, some attachments may be wiped with an alcohol wipe. Ensure they are completely dry before storing.
Storage

Troubleshooting
- Unit does not turn on: Check if batteries are inserted correctly with the correct polarity. Replace old batteries with new ones.
- Attachments stop rotating or slow down: This may indicate low battery power. Replace batteries. Ensure the attachment is securely fastened and not obstructed. Avoid applying excessive pressure.
- Excessive heat during use: Reduce pressure on the nail. Ensure the attachment is clean and not worn out. Take breaks if necessary.
