The Supco Series L205 Thermostat is a fixed-temperature bimetal disc control. It does not have user-adjustable settings. Its operation is automatic based on the ambient temperature it senses.

• When the temperature around the thermostat rises to its factory-set trip point, the internal bimetal disc will snap open, interrupting the electrical circuit.
• When the temperature falls below the reset point (typically lower than the trip point), the bimetal disc will snap closed, restoring the electrical circuit.

This "open on rise" characteristic makes it suitable for applications requiring a circuit to be opened when a certain temperature is reached, such as overheat protection or fan control.
