A properly fitting helmet is crucial for safety. Refer to the size chart below to determine your correct helmet size. Measure your head circumference just above your eyebrows and around the widest part of your head.

Figure 3.1: LS2 Helmets Size Chart. This chart provides head circumference measurements corresponding to various helmet sizes (XXS to XXL).
| Size | Head Circumference (cm) |
|---|---|
| XXS | 51 - 52 |
| XS | 53 - 54 |
| S | 55 - 56 |
| M | 57 - 58 |
| L | 59 - 60 |
| XL | 61 - 62 |
| XXL | 63 - 64 |
3.2. Proper Helmet Fit Test
- Place the helmet on your head, ensuring it sits level and covers your forehead.
- Fasten the chin strap securely using the quick-release ratchet system. The strap should be snug but not uncomfortably tight.
- With the strap fastened, try to move the helmet from side to side and front to back. Your skin should move with the helmet, indicating a snug fit. The helmet should not slide freely.
- Check for pressure points. While a snug fit is necessary, there should be no excessive pressure on any part of your head.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Using the Quick-Release Ratchet System
The SR2S quick-release ratchet system allows for easy and secure fastening of the chin strap.
- To Fasten: Insert the notched end of the strap into the buckle until it clicks securely. Adjust the strap length for a snug fit.
- To Release: Pull the red tab on the buckle (marked "PULL") to disengage the ratchet mechanism and release the strap.

4.2. Adjusting the Ventilation System
The helmet features adjustable vents to control airflow. Locate the intake vents on the front/top of the helmet and the exhaust vents at the rear.
- Opening Vents: Slide or push the vent covers to the open position to allow fresh air to enter.
- Closing Vents: Slide or push the vent covers to the closed position to reduce airflow, useful in colder conditions.

4.3. Visor Operation
The 3D visor is multi-adjustable and designed to be anti-scratch.
- Opening/Closing: Use the tab on the visor to lift it up or pull it down. The visor has multiple detent positions to allow for partial opening.
- Visor Removal (for cleaning/replacement): Consult the specific instructions provided with your helmet for detailed steps on removing and reattaching the visor. Generally, this involves pressing a release mechanism near the visor pivot points.
5. Maintenance
5.1. Cleaning the Helmet Exterior
- Use a soft cloth and mild soap with lukewarm water.
- Avoid harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the helmet's finish and materials.
- Rinse thoroughly and dry with a clean, soft cloth.
5.2. Cleaning the Visor
- Remove the visor from the helmet if possible.
- Wash with lukewarm water and a soft cloth. A small amount of mild soap can be used if necessary.
- Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry, or gently blot dry with a microfiber cloth.
- Do not use abrasive materials or chemical cleaners on the visor, as this can damage the anti-scratch coating.
5.3. Cleaning the Interior Liner
The interior liner is fully removable and washable.
- Carefully remove the cheek pads and headliner from the helmet.
- Hand wash the liner components using mild soap and cold water.
- Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before reinserting into the helmet. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
5.4. Storage
Store your helmet in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Use a helmet bag to protect it from dust and scratches.
6. Troubleshooting
| Issue | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Visor fogs up easily | Lack of ventilation; cold weather; high humidity | Ensure vents are open. Consider anti-fog treatments or a Pinlock-ready visor (if available for your model). Slightly crack the visor open for airflow. |
| Helmet feels too tight/loose | Incorrect size; liner not settled | Re-check head measurement against size chart. Ensure liner is properly seated. If still uncomfortable, the helmet size may be incorrect. |
| Chin strap not securing | Debris in ratchet; worn mechanism | Inspect the ratchet mechanism for obstructions. Clean if necessary. If worn, contact customer support for replacement parts or service. |
