5. Operating Instructions

Learning to ride your Micro Kickboard Sprite is straightforward. Practice in a safe, open area until you are comfortable.

  1. Starting:
    • Place one foot firmly on the non-slip deck, close to the front of the scooter.
    • Use your other foot to push off the ground, gaining momentum.
    • Once you have enough speed, place your pushing foot behind the front foot on the deck.
  2. Steering:
    • Steer by gently turning the handlebar in the desired direction. The two-wheel design provides responsive steering.
  3. Braking:
    • The Micro Kickboard Sprite features a rear braking system. To slow down or stop, gently press your heel onto the rear fender brake (refer to Figure 5.1).
    • Apply gradual pressure to avoid sudden stops, which can cause loss of balance.
  4. Folding for Storage/Transport:
    • To fold the scooter, reverse the unfolding steps. Release the locking device and fold the T-bar down until it locks into the compact position.
    • The integrated kickstand allows for easy parking when not in use.
