Maintenance and Cleaning
Cleaning the Mixing Bowl and Attachments:
- The 4.5-quart stainless steel bowl is dishwasher safe for easy cleaning.
- The flat beater, dough hook, and wire whip are also generally dishwasher safe. Refer to individual attachment instructions for specific care.
- For stubborn residue, hand wash with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge.
Cleaning the Mixer Body:
- Wipe the mixer body with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the mixer in water.
- Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these can damage the finish.
Troubleshooting
Motor Head Not Locking:
If the motor head does not lock securely into place, ensure the locking lever is fully engaged in the forward position. Sometimes, a slight adjustment of the head may be needed to align it correctly before locking.
