Speaker Components
- Woofers: Two 165 mm high-efficiency woofers per speaker handle low and mid-range frequencies.
- Tweeter: A 35 mm directional dome tweeter is responsible for clear high-frequency reproduction.
- Bass Reflex Port: Located at the rear of the speaker, this port enhances bass response.
- Connection Terminals: Located on the rear panel, these terminals allow connection to an amplifier using screw terminals or banana plugs.

5. Setup
5.1 Speaker Placement
- For optimal stereo imaging, place the speakers equidistant from your primary listening position, forming an equilateral triangle.
- Keep speakers at least 20-30 cm (8-12 inches) away from walls to allow the rear bass reflex port to function effectively and prevent excessive bass buildup.
- Ensure both speakers are placed at the same height.
5.2 Connecting to an Amplifier
These are passive speakers and require an external amplifier. Ensure your amplifier is turned OFF before making connections.
- Use high-quality speaker wire. Strip approximately 1-2 cm (0.4-0.8 inches) of insulation from the ends of the speaker wire.
- Connect the positive (+) terminal (red) on the speaker to the positive (+) terminal (red) on your amplifier.
- Connect the negative (-) terminal (black) on the speaker to the negative (-) terminal (black) on your amplifier.
- Ensure that the polarity is consistent for both speakers (red to red, black to black). Incorrect polarity will result in poor sound quality, especially in bass response.
- Tighten the screw terminals securely or insert banana plugs firmly.
6. Operating Instructions
Once the speakers are correctly connected to your amplifier:
- Ensure your amplifier's volume is set to minimum before powering it on.
- Power on your amplifier.
- Select the desired audio source on your amplifier.
- Gradually increase the volume to a comfortable listening level.
- These speakers are designed for wired connectivity only.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to wipe the speaker cabinets. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by a dry one. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Grilles: The protective grilles can be removed for cleaning or for a different aesthetic. Handle them carefully to avoid bending or damaging the fabric.
- Dust: Regularly dust the speaker cones and tweeter with a soft brush or compressed air to prevent accumulation.
- Storage: If storing the speakers for an extended period, keep them in a cool, dry place, ideally in their original packaging, to protect them from dust and physical damage.
8. Troubleshooting
- No Sound:
- Check all speaker wire connections at both the amplifier and the speakers. Ensure they are secure and correctly polarized (+ to +, - to -).
- Verify the amplifier is powered on and the correct input source is selected.
- Test with another audio source or amplifier if possible.
- Distorted Sound:
- Reduce the volume on your amplifier. Overdriving the speakers can cause distortion.
- Check speaker wire connections for loose strands that might be shorting.
- Ensure the amplifier's impedance rating is compatible with the speakers (8 ohms).
- Weak or Muffled Bass:
- Confirm correct speaker polarity (+ to +, - to -). Incorrect polarity is a common cause of weak bass.
- Adjust speaker placement, ensuring they are not too close to walls or corners, which can sometimes over-emphasize or cancel bass.
- Consider adding a dedicated subwoofer to your system if you desire deeper or more impactful bass, as these speakers are designed for balanced HiFi and Home Cinema use.
