5. Setup

5.1 Speaker Placement

• For optimal stereo imaging, place the speakers equidistant from your primary listening position, forming an equilateral triangle.
• Keep speakers at least 20-30 cm (8-12 inches) away from walls to allow the rear bass reflex port to function effectively and prevent excessive bass buildup.
• Ensure both speakers are placed at the same height.

5.2 Connecting to an Amplifier

These are passive speakers and require an external amplifier. Ensure your amplifier is turned OFF before making connections.

1. Use high-quality speaker wire. Strip approximately 1-2 cm (0.4-0.8 inches) of insulation from the ends of the speaker wire.
2. Connect the positive (+) terminal (red) on the speaker to the positive (+) terminal (red) on your amplifier.
3. Connect the negative (-) terminal (black) on the speaker to the negative (-) terminal (black) on your amplifier.
4. Ensure that the polarity is consistent for both speakers (red to red, black to black). Incorrect polarity will result in poor sound quality, especially in bass response.
