Setup

The Palm Drift Livery paddle is designed for easy assembly due to its 2-piece construction.

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove both paddle halves from their packaging. Inspect for any visible damage.
2. Align Shafts: Locate the male and female ends of the two paddle shaft sections. The male end will typically have a button or spring mechanism, and the female end will have a corresponding hole.
3. Connect Sections: Depress the button on the male shaft end and slide it firmly into the female shaft end until the button snaps securely into the hole. Ensure the connection is tight and there is no wobble.
4. Adjust Blade Offset (Feathering): This paddle features a standard 60-degree right-hand blade offset. Ensure the blades are aligned correctly for your preferred paddling style. The connection mechanism typically allows for a single, fixed offset.

Operating

• Paddling Stroke:

  • Exit: Remove the blade from the water when it reaches your hip.
  • Recovery: Rotate your torso and extend the paddle forward for the next stroke on the opposite side.
