3. Setup

The Digitek DWM 120 system is designed for plug-and-play operation with automatic pairing. No additional apps or Bluetooth connections are required.

3.1. Charging the Devices

  • Ensure both transmitters and the receiver are fully charged before first use.
  • Place the transmitters and receiver into the charging case. The case will automatically charge the devices.
  • Connect the Type-C charging cable to the charging case and a power source to charge the case itself.
  • The transmitters have an 80mAh battery, and the charging case has a 500mAh battery, providing extended usage.

3.2. Connecting to Your Smartphone

  1. Identify the correct adapter for your smartphone:
    • For Android devices with a Type-C port, use the Type-C receiver directly.
    • For iOS devices with a Lightning port, attach the Lightning adapter to the Type-C receiver.
  2. Plug the receiver (with or without the Lightning adapter) into your smartphone's charging/data port.
  3. The system will automatically pair. A green indicator light on the receiver and transmitters will confirm a successful connection.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Recording Audio

  • Once the receiver is connected and paired, open your preferred audio or video recording application on your smartphone.
  • The DWM 120 will automatically be recognized as the audio input source.
  • Begin recording. The microphone provides real-time transmission with low latency.
  • For optimal sound quality, ensure the microphone transmitter is clipped securely to clothing, approximately 6-8 inches from the mouth.

4.4. Battery Life

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the microphone transmitters, receiver, and charging case. Avoid using liquids or abrasive cleaners.
