5. Setup

5.1 Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the videoscope handle.

  4. Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it.

5.2 Micro SD Card Installation (Optional)

  1. Locate the Micro SD card slot, typically on the side of the main unit.
  2. Insert a Micro SD card (up to 32GB recommended) into the slot until it clicks into place.
  3. To remove, gently push the card in until it springs out.

5.3 Attaching the Imager Head and Cable

  1. Align the connector of the imager cable with the port on the top of the videoscope main unit.
  2. Gently push the connector in and twist the locking ring clockwise to secure it.
  3. Ensure a firm connection to prevent signal loss.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Power button (usually marked with or ON/OFF) until the screen illuminates.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button again until the screen turns off.

6.2 Adjusting LED Brightness

  • While the videoscope is on, use the designated brightness control buttons (often marked with + and - or an LED icon) to increase or decrease the illumination from the camera head.
  • Adjust brightness to achieve optimal visibility in the inspection area.

6.3 Capturing Images and Videos

  • To Capture a Still Image: Press the Photo button (often marked with a camera icon). The image will be saved to the internal memory or Micro SD card.
  • To Record Video: Press the Video button (often marked with a video camera icon). Press again to stop recording. Video clips will be saved.
  • Note: Ensure a Micro SD card is installed for extended recording capacity.

6.4 Playback and Review

  • Access the playback mode via the menu or a dedicated button (often marked with a play icon).
  • Use the navigation buttons to browse through recorded images and videos.
  • Select an item to view it on the 2.4-inch LCD screen.

6.5 Connecting to a PC

  • The videoscope can stream digital video directly to a PC. Connect the device to your computer using a compatible USB cable (not specified if included, assume standard mini/micro USB).

8. Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Device does not power on or shuts off unexpectedly. Low or incorrect battery type; loose battery connection. Replace with fresh, high-quality Lithium Metal AA batteries. Ensure batteries are inserted with correct polarity and the compartment is secure.
Poor image quality or dark display. Insufficient LED brightness; dirty camera lens; object too far from camera. Adjust LED brightness. Clean the camera lens. Position the camera head closer to the inspection area (autofocus works best within 1 inch).
Cannot record images/videos. No Micro SD card inserted or card is full/corrupted. Insert a Micro SD card. Check if the card is full and delete unnecessary files, or format the card (refer to device menu for formatting option). Try a different Micro SD card.
No image on screen from probe. Probe not securely connected. Ensure the imager head and cable are firmly connected to the main unit and the locking ring is tightened.
