3. General Safety Information

Special qualifications and knowledge are required for solar system installation. This procedure should only be carried out by qualified personnel. All modules are equipped with an attached junction box and a #12 AWG cable terminated in connectors. If required, cables of different lengths and sizes are also available. The installer must assume the risk of all injuries that may occur during installation, including, but not limited to, the risk of electric shock.

It is possible for a module to generate more than 30 V DC voltage when exposed to the sun. Touching 30V or higher DC voltage is dangerous. Furthermore, in this situation, disconnecting the cable from such a module may cause arcing. This arcing can cause burns and other problems.

4. Setup and Installation

The Renogy 200W Solar Panel Kit is designed for straightforward installation. Follow these general guidelines for setting up your system.

4.1. Mounting the Solar Panels

The included Z-brackets and pre-drilled holes on the back frame of the panels allow for fast and secure mounting on various surfaces, such as RV roofs or other off-grid structures.
