Setup

1. Unpacking and Placement

Carefully remove the Minx Air 100 from its packaging. Place the unit on a stable, flat surface, ensuring adequate ventilation around the device. Avoid placing it near heat sources or in direct sunlight.

2. Power Connection

Connect the supplied power cable to the AC power input on the rear panel of the Minx Air 100. Plug the other end into a suitable wall outlet.

3. Initial Network Setup (Wi-Fi)

For Wi-Fi connectivity, download the "Minx Air" app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your Minx Air 100 to your home Wi-Fi network. This process typically involves selecting your network and entering the password.

4. Wired Network Connection (Optional)

Alternatively, you can connect the Minx Air 100 directly to your router using an Ethernet cable for a stable wired network connection. Plug one end of the Ethernet cable into the "Ethernet" port on the rear of the unit and the other end into an available LAN port on your router.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

Press the power button () located on the top panel of the unit or on the remote control to turn the Minx Air 100 on or off.

AirPlay Streaming

To stream audio via AirPlay:

  1. Ensure your Apple device (iPhone, iPad, Mac) and the Minx Air 100 are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  2. Open a music or audio app on your Apple device.
  3. Tap the AirPlay icon () and select "Minx Air 100" from the list of available devices.
  4. Audio will now stream wirelessly to your Minx Air 100.

Bluetooth Pairing and Streaming

To connect via Bluetooth:

  1. Press the Bluetooth button () on the top panel of the Minx Air 100 or the remote control to enter pairing mode. The Bluetooth indicator light will flash.
  2. On your smartphone or tablet, go to Bluetooth settings and search for available devices.
  3. Select "Minx Air 100" from the list. Once paired, the indicator light will turn solid.
  4. You can now play audio from your device, and it will stream to the Minx Air 100.

Internet Radio

Accessing Internet Radio is primarily done through the Minx Air app. Once connected to Wi-Fi:

  1. Open the Minx Air app on your device.
  2. Navigate to the Internet Radio section.
  3. Browse or search for stations. You can save your favorite stations to the preset buttons (1-5) on the top panel of the unit or the remote control for quick access.

Using the Minx Air App

The Minx Air app provides comprehensive control over your system:

  • Volume Control: Adjust the master volume.

  • Source Selection: Switch between AirPlay, Bluetooth, Internet Radio, and auxiliary inputs.
