Troubleshooting
Common Issues and Solutions
Display is Dim or Blank: Ensure the timer is properly plugged into a live electrical outlet. The internal AA battery is for memory backup only and does not power the display during normal operation.
Timer Not Activating/Deactivating as Programmed:
Verify that the timer is set to "AUTO" mode (not ON or OFF override).
Double-check all programmed ON/OFF times for accuracy, including AM/PM settings.
Ensure the correct days of the week are selected for each event.
Confirm that the connected appliance or light is working correctly and is properly plugged into the timer's outlets.
Astronomic Feature (Dusk/Dawn) Not Working Accurately: Ensure the current date and time are set correctly on the timer. The astronomic feature relies on accurate timekeeping to calculate local sunrise and sunset times.
Loss of Programming: If power is lost for an extended period and the internal AA battery is depleted or not installed, programmed settings may be lost. Re-program the timer following the instructions in the "Operation and Programming" section.
Buttons Unresponsive: Try pressing the RESET button to clear any temporary software glitches. If the issue persists, ensure the unit is receiving power.
