3. Setup
Follow these steps to prepare your GLORIA Prima 3 pressure sprayer for first use:
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Ensure all components listed in the packing list are present.
- Assemble Lance: Attach the spray lance to the handle. Ensure a secure and leak-free connection.
- Attach Shoulder Strap: If desired, attach the shoulder strap to the designated points on the sprayer body for easier transport.
- Fill with Liquid: Unscrew the pump assembly. Fill the tank with the desired liquid (water, fertilizer, pesticide solution) up to the 3-liter mark. Do not overfill. Ensure the liquid is suitable for spraying and does not contain solid particles that could clog the nozzle.
- Secure Pump Assembly: Screw the pump assembly back onto the tank tightly to ensure an airtight seal.
4. Operating Instructions
Operating the GLORIA Prima 3 is straightforward:
- Build Pressure: Pump the handle up and down repeatedly until resistance is felt and the desired operating pressure (up to 3 bar) is reached. The integrated safety valve will release excess pressure if over-pumped.
- Adjust Spray Pattern: Rotate the brass nozzle at the end of the lance to adjust the spray pattern from a fine mist to a powerful jet.
- Begin Spraying: Press the trigger on the handle to release the spray. For continuous spraying, engage the lock mechanism on the trigger (if available).
- Monitor Liquid Level: Use the transparent strip on the side of the tank to monitor the remaining liquid.
- Release Pressure After Use: After spraying, always release any remaining pressure in the tank. This can be done by pulling the safety valve or by holding the trigger until all pressure is gone.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your sprayer:
- Clean After Each Use: After each use, empty any remaining liquid, rinse the tank thoroughly with clean water, and spray clean water through the lance and nozzle to prevent clogging.
- Check Seals: Periodically inspect all seals and O-rings for wear or damage. Replace them if necessary to maintain an airtight seal.
- Clean Nozzle: If the spray pattern becomes uneven or weak, the nozzle may be clogged. Unscrew the nozzle and clean it with a soft brush or by rinsing it under running water.
- Lubricate Moving Parts: Lightly lubricate the pump piston and other moving parts with silicone grease if they become stiff.
- Storage: Store the sprayer in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and frost. Ensure the tank is empty and clean before storage.
