4. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your DITTO LOOPER pedal:
- Power Connection: Connect a 9V DC power supply (not included) to the power input jack on the pedal. Ensure the power supply provides 100 mA or more.
- Instrument Connection: Connect your guitar to the input jack on the side of the pedal using a standard 1/4-inch instrument cable.
- Amplifier Connection: Connect the output jack of the pedal to your amplifier's input using another standard 1/4-inch instrument cable.
- Loop Level Adjustment: Turn the "LOOP LEVEL" knob to your desired volume. This knob controls the playback volume of your recorded loops.

5. Operating Instructions
The DITTO LOOPER features a simple one-button interface for all looping functions. The LED indicator changes color to show the current mode:
- Red LED: Recording mode.
- Green LED: Playback mode.
- Blinking Green LED: Undo/Redo or Delete confirmation.

5.1. Recording Your First Loop
To record your first loop:
- Press the footswitch once to start recording. The LED will turn red.
- Play your desired phrase.
- Press the footswitch once again to stop recording and immediately start playback. The LED will turn green. Your loop will now play continuously.
5.2. Overdubbing
To add layers (overdubs) to your existing loop:
- While the loop is playing (green LED), press the footswitch once. The LED will turn red, indicating overdub recording has started.
- Play your new layer.
- Press the footswitch once again to stop overdubbing and return to playback mode. The LED will turn green.
- Repeat this process for unlimited overdubs.
5.3. Undo/Redo Last Overdub
To undo or redo your last recorded overdub:
- While the loop is playing (green LED), press and hold the footswitch for approximately 2 seconds. The LED will blink green once to confirm the undo action.
- To redo the undone overdub, press and hold the footswitch again for approximately 2 seconds. The LED will blink green once to confirm the redo action.
5.4. Stopping Playback
To stop the loop playback:
- While the loop is playing (green LED), quickly double-tap the footswitch. The loop will stop, and the LED will turn off.
5.5. Clearing the Loop
To completely erase the current loop:
- While the loop is stopped (LED off), press and hold the footswitch for approximately 2 seconds. The LED will blink green rapidly to confirm the loop has been cleared.
