Setup Instructions
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Place the microscope on a stable, level surface.
- Eyepiece Installation: Insert the desired eyepiece (WF10x or WF25x) into the top of the monocular head. Secure it gently.
- Power Connection: Connect the 110V power adapter to the microscope's power input and a suitable electrical outlet. Alternatively, install three AA batteries (sold separately) into the battery compartment located at the base.
- Dust Cover: Remove the dust cover before use and replace it after each use to protect the optics.

Operating Your Microscope
- Power On: Flip the power switch located at the base of the microscope to the 'ON' position. Adjust the illumination intensity using the dimmer control, if available.
- Prepare Specimen: Place a prepared slide or a specimen on a blank slide onto the plain stage, securing it with the stage clips.
- Select Objective: Rotate the revolving nosepiece to select the lowest power objective (4x) first. Ensure the objective clicks into place directly above the specimen.
- Focusing: While looking through the eyepiece, use the coarse focus knob to bring the specimen into approximate focus. Then, use the fine focus knob for precise focusing until the image is clear and sharp.
- Adjust Illumination: Adjust the disc diaphragm to control the amount of light passing through the specimen, optimizing contrast and clarity.
- Higher Magnification: Once focused at 4x, rotate the nosepiece to a higher power objective (10x or 40x). Re-adjust the fine focus and diaphragm as needed. Be cautious with the 40x objective to avoid contact with the slide.
- Upper Illumination (for opaque specimens): If observing opaque specimens, activate the upper LED illumination and adjust its angle for optimal viewing.
