Setup

Before using your One Touch Can Opener for the first time, follow these steps:

  1. Battery Installation: The can opener requires 2 AA batteries (not included). Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the device. Open the cover, insert the batteries according to the polarity indicators (+/-), and close the cover securely.
  2. Initial Cleaning: Wipe the cutting blade and exterior of the can opener with a damp cloth before first use. Ensure it is completely dry before operation.

Operating Instructions

Using your One Touch Can Opener is simple and efficient:

  1. Positioning: Place the can opener on top of the can, ensuring the cutting wheel and the metal gear are aligned with the can's rim. The can opener will automatically grip the can.
  2. Start Operation: Press the green activation button once. The can opener will start cutting along the side of the can. It will automatically stop once the can is fully opened.
  3. Removing the Can Opener: Once the cutting process is complete and the motor stops, gently lift the can opener off the can. The lid will remain attached to the can opener via a magnet for safe disposal.
  4. Lid Removal: To release the lid, press the green activation button again. This will reverse the motor slightly, releasing the lid from the magnet. Dispose of the lid safely.

Note: The can opener cuts along the side of the can, leaving a smooth, safe edge on both the can and the lid.
