2. Safety Information

WARNING: To reduce the risk of serious injury, read all important precautions and instructions in this manual before using the treadmill.

  • Always consult with a physician before starting any exercise program.
  • Keep children and pets away from the treadmill at all times.
  • Place the treadmill on a level surface with at least 6 feet of clear space behind it and 2 feet on each side.
  • Ensure the safety key is properly attached to your clothing before beginning a workout. The safety key is designed to stop the treadmill immediately in an emergency.
  • Do not operate the treadmill if it has a damaged power cord or plug, or if it has been dropped or damaged.
  • Wear appropriate athletic footwear. Do not use the treadmill barefoot or in socks.
  • Maintain a firm grip on the handrails when starting or stopping the treadmill, or if you feel unsteady.
  • Be aware of the emergency stop button location. It is a large red button on the console. While designed for safety, accidental contact during arm swing can cause an abrupt stop. Position your arms to avoid unintentional activation.
  • Do not attempt to adjust or service the treadmill while it is in use or plugged in.
  • The treadmill is designed for continuous use, however, some pre-set programs may have duration limits. Be aware of your program settings to avoid unexpected stops.

3. Setup and Assembly

The Matrix T7xe Treadmill is designed for minimal assembly. It typically arrives largely pre-assembled. Please ensure you have adequate space and power supply before unpacking.

Unpacking and Placement

  1. Carefully remove all packaging materials. Inspect the treadmill for any shipping damage.
  2. Position the treadmill on a stable, level surface. Ensure there is sufficient clearance around the unit as specified in the safety section.
  3. Connect the power cord to a grounded electrical outlet. The treadmill requires an AC Adapter power source.

4. Operating Instructions

Getting Started

  1. Ensure the treadmill is plugged in and the safety key is in place on the console.
  2. Attach the safety key clip to your clothing.
  3. Step onto the treadmill belt, placing your feet on the side rails.
  4. Press the "Quick Start" button or select a program from the display.

Console and Display

The T7xe features an LCD display with an integrated TV screen. The console allows you to monitor various metrics and control your workout.

Adjusting Speed and Incline

  • Use the speed control buttons on the console to increase or decrease the belt speed. The speed range is 0.5 to 15 MPH.
  • Use the incline control buttons to adjust the incline of the running deck. The maximum incline is 15%.

Ending Your Workout

To stop your workout, press the "Stop" button on the console. The treadmill will gradually slow down and come to a complete stop. Remove the safety key to power off the unit.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Matrix T7xe Treadmill.

  • Cleaning: Wipe down the console and exterior surfaces with a damp cloth after each use. Avoid using abrasive cleaners.
  • Belt Lubrication: The running belt may require periodic lubrication. Refer to the on-screen prompts or contact customer support for specific instructions and recommended lubricants.
  • Belt Tension and Alignment: Check the running belt tension and alignment regularly. If the belt slips or drifts to one side, consult the troubleshooting section or contact customer support for adjustment procedures.
  • Motor Cover: Periodically vacuum under the motor cover to remove dust and debris. Ensure the treadmill is unplugged before performing this task.

6. Troubleshooting
