Operating Instructions
Programming ON/OFF Cycles:
The timer allows for multiple ON/OFF programs. Follow these steps to set a program:
- Press the 'Y' button once to enter program setting mode. The display will show "1 ON".
- Use the 'Y' button to select the desired day(s) for this program. Options typically include:
- Individual days (MO, TU, WE, etc.)
- Weekdays (MO TU WE TH FR)
- Weekends (SA SU)
- All 7 days (MO TU WE TH FR SA SU)
- Use the '+' or '-' buttons to set the desired ON hour.
- Press the 'N' button to switch to minute adjustment, then use '+' or '-' to set the desired ON minute.
- Press 'Y' again. The display will now show "1 OFF". Repeat steps 2-4 to set the desired OFF time for the same program.
- To set additional programs (e.g., "2 ON", "2 OFF"), continue pressing 'Y' and repeat the process. The timer supports up to 24 ON/OFF programs per week.
- Once all programs are set, press the 'N' button repeatedly until the display returns to the current time.
Manual Override:
To manually turn the connected device ON or OFF without affecting the programmed schedule, press the 'N' button when the timer is displaying the current time. Each press will cycle through ON, OFF, and AUTO modes. Select AUTO for the timer to follow its programmed schedule.
Random Mode:
The random mode can be activated to turn the connected device ON and OFF at irregular intervals, typically within a set window, to simulate occupancy. Consult the device's specific button combination for activating/deactivating random mode (often involves holding a button or a specific sequence).
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the timer with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
- Battery: The internal lithium battery is rechargeable and designed for long-term use. If the display becomes dim or loses time frequently, ensure the timer is plugged into a live outlet to allow the battery to charge. The battery is not user-replaceable.
- Storage: Store the timer in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use.
