Setup and Installation
This section guides you through the installation of your pendant light fixture. Professional installation is recommended if you are not familiar with electrical wiring.
Step 1: Prepare for Installation
Before starting, ensure the power supply to the installation area is turned off at the main fuse box or circuit breaker. Unpack all components and inspect them for any damage. Keep all packaging materials until installation is complete.
Step 2: Attach Mounting Bracket
Secure the provided mounting bracket to the ceiling junction box using the screws supplied. Ensure the bracket is firmly attached and level.

This image shows the canopy and the top portion of the hanging rod, illustrating how the fixture connects to the ceiling mounting point.
Step 3: Adjust Hanging Height
The fixture includes two 12-inch stems and two 6-inch stems. Select the appropriate combination of stems to achieve your desired hanging height. Thread the electrical wires through the chosen stems and the canopy. Ensure the wires are not pinched.

This image illustrates how multiple pendant lights can be hung at varying heights using the adjustable stems to suit your space.
Step 4: Make Electrical Connections
Connect the fixture's wires to the house wires according to local and national electrical codes. Typically, connect the black wire from the fixture to the black (hot) wire from the ceiling, the white wire from the fixture to the white (neutral) wire from the ceiling, and the ground wire to the ground wire. Secure all connections with approved wire nuts and ensure no bare wire strands are exposed.
Step 5: Secure Canopy and Glass Shade
Carefully push the canopy up to the ceiling, covering the junction box and wiring. Secure it in place with the provided screws. Then, slide the glass shade over the bulb socket and secure it according to the fixture's design (e.g., with a threaded ring or small screws). Install the appropriate E26 Medium base bulb (not included).

The fixture is designed for one E26 Medium base incandescent bulb, up to 100 watts. You can choose a bulb that provides your desired light temperature and brightness to complement your room's ambiance.
Maintenance
Regular cleaning will help maintain the appearance and performance of your Kichler Everly pendant light fixture.
- Always turn off the power to the fixture at the circuit breaker before cleaning.
