  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the handle of the magnifier.
  2. Gently slide or unclip the cover to open the compartment.
  3. Insert the batteries, paying close attention to the polarity markings (+ and -) inside the compartment. Incorrect battery orientation can prevent the LEDs from functioning.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning the Lens and Body

  • To clean the lens, use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical surfaces. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals, which can scratch or damage the lens.
  • For stubborn smudges, a small amount of lens cleaning solution can be applied to the cloth, not directly to the lens.
  • Wipe the body of the magnifier with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the device in water or any other liquid.

2. Battery Replacement

  • When the LED lights dim or stop working, it is time to replace the batteries. Follow the "Battery Installation" steps in the Setup section.
  • Always replace all batteries at the same time with new ones of the same type.
  • Dispose of used batteries responsibly according to local regulations.

3. Storage

  • Store the magnifier in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • If storing for an extended period, it is recommended to remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
