1. Introduction

2. Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons, including the following:

• Do not immerse the motor base in water or other liquids. Clean only with a damp cloth.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning.
• Avoid contact with moving parts.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Contact customer service for examination, repair, or adjustment.
• The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
• Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
• Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to “off”, then remove plug from wall outlet.
• Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
• Ensure the appliance is placed on a stable, flat surface during operation.

3. Product Overview

The WMF Stelio Citrus Press is designed for efficient juicing of various citrus fruits. It features a durable stainless steel housing and includes two pressing cones for different fruit sizes.

4. Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for storage or future transport.
2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash all removable parts (juice collection bowl, sieve, pressing cones, dust cover) in warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry. Wipe the motor base unit with a damp cloth.
3. Assemble:
   • Place the juice collection bowl onto the motor base unit.
   • Place the stainless steel sieve into the juice collection bowl, ensuring it sits securely.
   • Select the appropriate pressing cone: Use the smaller cone for limes and lemons, and the larger cone for oranges and grapefruits. The larger cone fits directly over the smaller cone.

5. Operating Instructions

1. Prepare Fruit: Cut citrus fruits in half.
2. Position Glass: Place a glass or container under the juice spout. Ensure the spout is in the down position to allow juice to flow directly into the glass.
3. Juice Extraction: Place a fruit half onto the pressing cone. Apply gentle downward pressure. The motor will activate automatically and the cone will rotate, extracting juice.
4. Release Pressure: Once juicing is complete, release the pressure. The motor will stop.
5. Repeat: Continue with remaining fruit halves.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and hygiene of your citrus press.

1. Unplug: Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet before cleaning.
2. Disassemble: Remove the dust cover, pressing cone(s), stainless steel sieve, and juice collection bowl from the motor base.
3. Wash Removable Parts: The juice collection bowl, sieve, pressing cones, and dust cover are dishwasher-safe. Alternatively, they can be washed by hand in warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reassembly or storage.
4. Clean Motor Base: Wipe the motor base unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor base in water or any other liquid. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
5. Storage: Once all parts are clean and dry, reassemble the unit or store the components in a clean, dry place. The transparent dust cover can be placed over the assembled cones to protect them from dust.
