- To protect against electrical hazards, do not immerse cord, plugs, or the appliance base in water or other liquid.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Contact AROMA customer service for examination, repair, or adjustment.
- The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock, or injury.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
- Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to “off,” then remove plug from wall outlet.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning helps maintain the performance and longevity of your kettle.
- Daily Cleaning: Unplug the kettle and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Hand wash the interior with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
- Descaling: Mineral deposits (limescale) can build up over time, especially in hard water areas. This can affect performance.
- To descale, fill the kettle with a mixture of 1 part white vinegar to 2 parts water, or use a commercial descaling solution according to its instructions.
- Boil the mixture and let it stand for at least 30 minutes, or longer for heavy buildup.
- Discard the mixture and rinse the kettle interior several times with fresh water. Boil fresh water and discard it 2-3 times to remove any residual vinegar taste.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals on any part of the kettle.
- Product Care Instructions: Hand wash, Wipe clean.
Troubleshooting
If your kettle is not functioning as expected, please check the following:
- Kettle not heating:
- Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet.
- Verify the kettle is properly seated on its power base.
- Check that the power switch is pressed down and the indicator light is on.
- Kettle leaks:
- Ensure the lid is closed securely.
- Do not fill the kettle past the MAX fill line. Overfilling can cause water to boil over or leak from the spout/lid.
- Kettle does not shut off automatically:
- Confirm the lid is closed securely. The automatic shut-off mechanism relies on steam buildup, which can escape if the lid is not properly sealed.
- Water tastes strange or has an odor:
- Ensure you have completed the "Before First Use" cleaning steps.
- Descale the kettle if mineral buildup is present.
