Setup and Assembly

Assembly of the AFI Madison Queen Platform Bed is required. It is recommended to have two adults for assembly. Please follow the step-by-step instructions provided in the dedicated Installation Manual.

1. Unpack all components and verify against the parts list in the Installation Manual.
2. Assemble the headboard and footboard sections according to the manual.
3. Attach the side rails to the headboard and footboard, ensuring secure connections.
4. Install the hardwood slat kit onto the bed frame. The slats provide direct mattress support, eliminating the need for a box spring.
5. Assemble the two underbed storage drawers. These drawers are designed to slide easily on casters and can be placed on either side of the bed.
6. Attach the USB charger unit to the designated location on the headboard or side rail as per the manual.

Operating Instructions

Storage Drawers:

The Madison bed includes two large underbed storage drawers. These drawers are designed to slide freely on casters beneath the bed frame. They are not attached to a track system, allowing for flexible placement on either side of the bed. To use, simply pull the drawer out from under the bed. To close, push it back into place.

USB Charger:

The attachable USB charger provides convenient power for your electronic devices. Once installed and connected to a power source (as per the Installation Manual), simply plug your USB charging cable into one of the available ports to charge your smartphone, tablet, or other compatible devices.
