Introduction
This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your AeroCool Silent Master 200mm Blue LED Cooling Fan. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the product to ensure proper function and longevity.
Safety Information
- Ensure power is disconnected from your computer before installation or maintenance.
- Avoid touching the fan blades while the fan is operating.
- Do not expose the fan to moisture or extreme temperatures.
- Keep out of reach of children.
Package Contents
Verify that all items are present in the package:
- 1x AeroCool Silent Master 200mm Blue LED Cooling Fan
- 1x 3-pin to 4-pin Molex converter
- 4x Mounting screws
Setup and Installation
- Prepare your computer case: Ensure your computer is powered off and unplugged. Open the computer case to access the fan mounting locations.
- Identify mounting location: The AeroCool Silent Master 200mm fan is designed for standard 200mm fan mounts in PC cases. Confirm available space and desired airflow direction (intake or exhaust).
- Mount the fan: Position the fan in the desired location. Use the included 4 mounting screws to secure the fan to the case. Do not overtighten.
- Connect power: Connect the fan's 3-pin connector to an available 3-pin fan header on your motherboard. If a 3-pin header is not available, use the included 3-pin to 4-pin Molex converter to connect directly to your power supply.
- Verify connections: Double-check all connections to ensure they are secure.
- Close case and power on: Close your computer case, plug it back in, and power it on. Observe the fan for proper operation and LED illumination.

Operating Instructions
The AeroCool Silent Master fan operates automatically once connected to a power source. Its speed is typically controlled by the motherboard's fan controller based on system temperature, or it runs at a constant speed if connected via Molex.
- Fan Speed Control: If connected to a motherboard fan header, fan speed can often be adjusted through your motherboard's BIOS/UEFI settings or dedicated software.
- LED Illumination: The blue LEDs will illuminate automatically when the fan receives power. There are no separate controls for the LEDs on this model.
Maintenance
- Regular Cleaning: Periodically clean dust from the fan blades and frame using compressed air or a soft brush. Ensure the computer is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.
- Inspection: Check for any obstructions or loose cables around the fan that could impede its operation.
- Do not attempt to lubricate the fan bearing, as it is factory-sealed.
Troubleshooting
- Fan not spinning:
- - Check if the fan's power connector is securely attached to the motherboard header or Molex connector.
- - Ensure the power supply is functioning correctly.
- - Verify fan settings in BIOS/UEFI if connected to a motherboard header.
- LEDs not lighting up:
- - Confirm the fan is receiving power. The LEDs are integrated and should light up with the fan.
- Excessive noise:
- - Check for loose mounting screws. Tighten if necessary.
- - Ensure no cables or other components are touching the fan blades.
- - Clean any dust buildup on the fan blades.
